ART: Rainbow Marble & Spring Tree

You can create an two art projects along with Ms. Maria, or watch her and then do it on your own afterwards.  Here's what you'll need:

A.  Rainbow Marble

• Shaving cream (foam, not gel)
• 3 - 4 colors liquid food coloring
• pencil 
• Heavier (like card stock) white paper - 2 pieces of approx. 8-1/2” x 11”, but smaller is OK if you have scraps of cardstock.  Please note that this doesn’t work with construction paper.
• Dull knife or rubber spatula
• A flat container for the shaving cream such as a dinner plate, cake pan, or cookie sheet 
• Small - medium bowl
• Paper towels

B.   Spring Tree

• A brown marker or brown colored pencil
• Some pink tissue paper and/or pink paint 
• 1 - 2 small bowls
• Glue - liquid or glue stick
• A piece of white paper (preferably cardstock or construction paper), any size
