About The Montessori House

The Montessori House is a learning place carefully designed to help each child become an independent and self directed explorer. In this house the children will experience the satisfaction of learning to do for themselves. Utilizing special Montessori materials, they will begin their discovery of the secrets of language, reading, numbers, art, music and the wonders of the world around them. They are rewarded with the soul stirring awareness of their own progress and accomplishment.

We call the school "The Montessori House" because our commitment to Maria Montessori's insights and materials deepened each year we worked with them, Her "Casa" and our "House" connote a child's home shared with wonderful friends both big and little.

The Montessori House has rapidly gained a reputation as the finest Montessori pre-school in the Northern New Jersey area. The school is continuously upgraded to maintain its "state of the art" distinction. It is staffed by highly qualified teachers and administrators who bring to it many years of experience and their own continuing education in and dedication to the Montessori method of early learning. The school has attracted capacity enrollment since its opening. It is the powerful approach to early learning.

The Montessori House maintains the highest level of security. The building itself boasts electronically controlled access. There are individually guided video monitors for parents to observe their children in the classrooms without themselves being a distraction.
